Dormer extension. External work and roof only. Planning has already been completed. There is also a velux style roof light to fit.
He may be OK for small jobs and certainly turned up for work each day but had little understanding of English and couldn't read the plans. He ended up costing me a lot of money to put things right.

Have recently had loft insulation put in. The insulation now covers all joists and
pieces of laminate flooring we had put down to accommodate boxes etc.. in loft.
We would like to see if loft could be properly floored?
I cannot rate Jim highly enough. His work was first class. He did everything
I wanted, and was polite and friendly. His standard of work is excellent. He worked extremely hard in quite cramped conditions. The whole family are delighted with the finished work. Well done Jim! We hope to have him back soon to do some more work.

We have an outhouse attached to the back of our cottage. It has electricity and running water. We wish to try and change this to a bedroom, however to do this we need to make alterations to our bathroom to access this room. This would include changing the roof on the bathroom from a sloping roof to a flat roof (replacing the dormer window). Some of the fixtures in the bathroom would also need to be relocated i.e. the toilet and sink. The outhouse would need an external door boarded up, two windows removed and a new window installed. (Budget - up to £10,000)
