Job Hello, I have three part outhouse (approx. 3800mm x 1800mm) that has had a new roof. I would like to reconfigure the internal structure to make it more user friendly. This would involve knocking down two internal walls, laying a concrete pad to level the floor. Moving a toilet (basin and mechanism to be retained) across by approximately 600mm. Install a sink with cold water only from existing supply. Install stud wall to make stand alone toilet. The end result is to have two rooms. One small with toilet (current door re-worked and existing quarry tiles used for floor. One larger room with door, window and wall (approx. 1200mm x 1200mm). Comment Mike is reliable and has a very good standard of workmanship. He made sure that all snags were fixed and rubbish cleared away before he asked for payment. Willingly held back some cash as some more work needs to be done in the spring. He made sure the job was finished to a high standard and did not try to cut corners. Returned after the job was finished and he had been paid to rectify a fault. Clean, diligent, likes a cup of tea. I would happily recommend. Alex

Job Old downstairs bathroom off kitchen (completely stripped) needs converting to useable space. Outside door to be put in end wall, bathroom window lowered and replaced, plastered, flooring and new light. Room approx 2m x 2m

Comment Good quality work - always present when they said they would be (subject to some unavoidable delays due to snow), and always contactable to answer queries. Job Remove stud partition wall, relocate 2 doors to original positions (1 boarded up), block up and plaster over 1 of these. Move 2 light switches. Fit approx 14sqm wooden flooring. Fit sink (waste and pipes already in position). Fit approx 2m of tall open shelf/cupboard units, and 3m low units. Fit straight run of worksurface (about 4m). Replace plasterboard to ceiling in bay window (about 1.8m x 600mm), board up and plaster another door (just 1 side), plaster finish to both these. Put in angled partition / boxing (about 500mm wide to ceiling height)in to conceal pies and hang radiator on (pipes already in place). Rehang another radiator (just needs brackets screwing in properly - came off about 2 years ago and has been stood on pile of books since! Take approx 0.5 cm off bottom of a door and rehang.
