Wall in kitchen which surrounds a redundant heating system needs taking down, don't think the wall is load bearing as the floor joists run across it and then onto the staircase wall, a couple of floor joists may need reinforcing as they have been partly cut due to a vent used in the heating system, the vent has now been removed.

In the past we have had some bad experiences with builders so were very wary at the start of this work. Jason and his team have restored out faith in the building profession. From the start he has kept us informed, offered sound, practical advice, and best of all, showed us ways to save money! He and his team have worked here every day of the working week - turning up at 7.30 am and working through to 4.30 pm. The work itself is to a high standard resulting in a superb kitchen/diner which we would be proud to show anyone. He is presently working on converting our garage to a hobby room and I have no doubt the end product will be just what we want. I have no hesitation in reccommending Copthorne Construction as good, reliable, skilled builders.
