Dear Carpenters and Joiners I do hope you can help me. When I moved into my new old house the front door was really tatty and I thought about replacing it. It is rotten in several places. Then I locked my self out and the cardboard covering the glazed panel does not improve its appearance one bit. It looks like a cottage / stable door but the top half doesn't open separately. It is also a weird size. its H1960 W 840 D 44 I expect it was built in imperial! Can you help? Thanks very much Elaine

Design and build a bespoke wall unit to surround a wall mounted TV and form a focal point to a room with shelving and cupboards/drawers. Contemporary design. High quality. Better quality than Ikea expected! Maybe with uplights/downlights? Look at Neville Johnson on line to get idea of type of thing.
I did not fully understand what artists mean when they say a piece of work took them on a 'journey' until I commissioned Paul to do this project. His brief: a feature piece, oak, bespoke, contemporary, hidden cables, wow factor. He gave me 3 designs-- we tweeked and modified as the project went along and the 'The Wall of Presence' evolved and became a reality. The final verdict? It has WOW factor alright! Paul's work is meticulous, artistic and full of presence. He is the same - highly recommended.

To fit into two identical alcoves in small sitting room. To fit cupboard with door/s at base of alcove approx. 85cm high 36cm deep and 77cm wide. To fit two shelves above the cupboard 36cm deep x 77cm wide. I should like the wood used to be approx 3cm deep.
Paul clearly takes great pride in his work. A real craftsman. The result was superb. Punctual,hard working, tidy. A very calm and pleasant person to have working in your house. I can thoroughly recommend him.

We had waited nearly a year for two local carpenters to attend and hang 3 external doors! Having been let down at the last minute I used this site to see if we could get something sorted asap! LL Carpentry came back very quickly and was able to do the job a week later. He was polite, punctual, fairly priced and above all honest. He understood what was required and this gave us confidence. His overall workmanship is very good and he was extremely tidy. We are thrilled with his work. We are very pleased that we went on this site and would definitely use Wesley again.

Didn't follow our directions to the letter, but overall did a good job, to a tight deadline and for a reasonable price.
