I am looking for a carpenter to build me a built in wardrobe. I have the measurements and a good idea of what I am looking for. I have had a quote from Sharps (which came in at a ridiculous amount of money) so the measurements should all be exact and there are plans drawn up. This will be in an alcove next to a chimney breast and will be the size of an average wardrobe. There are high ceilings in the flat and space is tight so I am looking to maximise the space. I do not have the wood to build the wardrobe.
I am moving into the flat at the start of September, the exact moving date should be finalised later this week. As I am taking some time off to move, I would like the wardrobe built while I am off. Plenty of tea or coffee will be provided! I have a cat which is very friendly so if anyone is allergic, this may not be the job for them.

Nothing was too much trouble, really wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend to anyone who needs a good carpenter or builder
Would love a decked area for my children to cycle & play on when the gardens to muddy or overgrown.
The area is reasonably flat, mostly grass/weeds at the moment. The size to be decked is roughly 8 meters by 4 meters.

We were very impressed with the professionalism and reliability of Maytrix Property. Very happy with the final result and the advice they gave throughout the whole job. They also always left the area tidy at the end of each day which was great considering we have children. Came in on budget and we have already recommended them to friends and family.
We need a new door fitted for our under stairs cupboard.
I am delighted with the job. Dave was extremely professional and did an amazing job crafting and fitting the cupboards. He arrived when he said he would and gave me a clear quote explaining materials needed etc. A very competitive rate as well. I would recommend him highly and will be using him again.
Replace/install 1 x solid external door Also required: Currently, we have a uPVC door which has glass window above it. Ideally we would like to keep the glass above the door and our a new timber frame around it. Additional information: We currently have a uPVC front door. We would like to replace this door with a solid timber door. We would also like to keep the glass above the solid timber door to keep light coming in and then build a new frame around it (if possible).
We already have the front door, the frame, all fittings (locks, hinges, letterbox) as well as paint.
We have been let down by another tradesmen which is why we are ready to go with everything ASAP.

Unsold lead, updated details: We were advised by Rated People.com to advise under £1,000 for the proposed work. We have now updated this figure to £2,000. We are totally in the dark with respect to cost and would consider tradespeople who are honest and would do a good job of work. We are open to advice and negotiations in respect of the proposed works and costs. Please feel free to advise. Thankyou. One entrance, to each side of the building for each set of 4 flats. Presently have patio entrance doors.
