House is approx 150 years old. Staircase to upper room needs to be repaired/replaced. Would like a bespoke staircase with 'split' steps' to reduce the gradient. The staircase from the ground floor to the first floor, and the landing, also need a bannister and appropriate stair furniture. We want a professional job, real wood, preferably light oak.
We saw this person once, and never heard from him again, despite waiting 2 or 3 weeks, ans sending 2 emails. Shame that he didn't come back to us, because we might have felt better about this.

I spoke to this tradesman on the phone. They said my job sounded "right up their street" and that I was their first lead on rated people. They took my details and said they would come and give me a quote the following day and that they would phone me prior to leaving to ell me how long they would be. This tradesman did not contact me again. I'm disappointed as I stayed in and waited for them
