Job I need a joiner to relay floorboards in my hall. I recently had a gas leak which turned out to be under the boards due to pipes rubbing together because of the springy floor boards. the leak has been sorted now but now need to strengthen the floor to stop the same thing happening again in the future.

Job Replacement of small section of facia board which has been affected by water leaking from a faulty guttering joint.

Budget Under £1,000

Job There has been water leaking down behind the bath which has caused the hardboard floorboard to swell and turn to sawdust and break. The floorboard is predominantly under the bath but continued under the wall into the bedroom. The bath would need to be removed and a new floorboard fitted that goes under the wall.

Budget Under £250

Job I have a door that has been sealed shut for many years. It has now suffered some water damage and needs to be either repaired or replaced and if that's being done it may as well open and shut. Existing "door" is made of wood, and is (roughly) 77cms by 198cms. It appears to be a door panel that has been glued in place rather than having hinges.

Comment The guys were friendly and efficient, made a couple of suggestions while doing the work that saved me a bit of money. The job took a bit longer than expected but they didn't complain at all. I'd employ them again. Dawn

Job several rooms need the beading/room dividers fitted and the facings put back. Just finishing off where the previous joiner left off (literally, he just didn't come back!)
