To fit oak work tops in a kitchen
Also would like someone to remove and replace skirting boards in 4 downstairs rooms with higher ones. Rooms currently vacant.
Oak floors to be laid afterwards in 2 rooms
Really please with Stuarts work and communication. He fitted new oak work tops in our kitchen and was helpful in the advice he gave for their finish. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.Hannah
I wasnt sure how to categorise this as its a number of small jobs. I requested a carpenter because the largest job is the fitting of 5 shelves (total) into 3 alcoves. The other jobs are flat-pack assembly of a bed and stairgate, putting up a bathroom cabinet and some hooks and repairing or replacing 2 shed door locks. Thanks,
I will certainly be asking Stuart to do other jobs as he has just finished a list of small jobs. He has shown high skill levels with all the tasks and very good reliability. Ivan
Updated : their are no plans, but units are in order of rebuild, the units are here, and no other work is required. Original : To fit a used dismantled bedroom set on one wall.
Really happy, great guy, great work, great result. *****susan
We have 5 internal doors that need fitting as well as a bifold door on a built in cupboard and another cupboard which needs a door. Would like bathroom one completing first and then the rest - we have purchased bathroom door and 2 others so far and just need to order the rest. Would like costs for just doing the three doors we already have and costs for the whole lot (including advice on the cupboard door that is not a standard size and then fitting it once purchased) we are not sure what to do with this cupboard!
Great job completed on time. Would definitely recommendVikki
Hi,
We are looking for quotes to design, supply and build Decking at the bottom of our garden.
We have a row of Laylandi trees there and want slightly raised decking covering the area joining the Lawn with steps rising from the Shed/Path.
About 5ft Wide x 20ft long [approx] or built to fit!
We would like Hard-Wood which lasts and requires less maintanance.
Neil is a first class tradesman who keeps to his word, turns up on time, and does the job to the highest quality.
Our 'dead area' of garden due to trees sucking up all the water has been transformed in to a useable value-adding area using decking.
Take a look at the photos http://www.iam.me.uk/utopian we took, this took Neil just 3 days to complete!Alec

Required are two units to fill the alcoves either side of our fireplace. These shall consist of a cupboard at the bottom, and bookshelf above.
The left hand alcove measures approximately 108cm wide, 38cm deep and 227cm high.
The right hand alcove measures approximately 102cm wide, 36cm deep and 229cm high.
All walls are of brick construction with the exception of the side walls adjacent to the fireplace which are plasterboard (the fireplace structure is constructed using a wooden frame and plasterboard panels).
Both cupboard should be of the same height, approximately 85cm in total. The left hand cupboard shall have a television seated upon it and house associated electrical equipment, hence will require internal shelves. The position of the right hand cupboard already contains a cupboard that houses electrical and gas boxes, hence the replacement will not require any internals. Simple cable routing capacity will be required for the top of both cupboards.
The shelves above should be moveable (i.e. on some form of rack) and aesthetically it would be desirable if they were of thicker wood than is standard for such a construction (approximately 2cm).
The whole structure is to be matt white in colour.
Timing: ASAP

Building a unit which includes cupboards and shelves into the alcove next to a chimney breast in an Edwardian semi - In both the living room and a bedroom. Don't have plans. Would intend to use mdf perhaps because would like to paint the units. The living room unit would be a typical one with cupboard at the bottom with double doors and then shelves above. The bedroom unit would be a wardrobe right across the alcove with cupboards on top of that, possibly right up to the ceiling.

Need an understairs cupboard making. Job is to make a panel on the outside (wood or plasterboard) and make a timber door frame and surround on the front. The interior wall makes the other side up.
Not a massive job, door to match our internals has been purchased already.
