Michael is a very efficient, courteous, punctual, very clean and tidy tradesman. He gave us a very detailed quote for the 2 fire doors that we needed fitting. The job started on time and was finished on time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience carpenter. Michael was very professional, reliable and charged a fair rate for the work. Two beams in our loft should be connected with 4 Nr. M20 x 150 bolts (as a safeguard for increased roof load from solar panels installed over the summer).
Reasonable price, and even agreed to do the work not until an hour after the children's bedtime to avoid waking them up. Also was very forgiving when two visits were required because a flaky surveyor had given the wrong dimensions for the bolts required. Would definitely recommend.

We have removed kitchen storage units from under a staircase, which has left exposed the electricity distribution board, consumer unit and meter. We would like a carpenter to build a unit to enclose these (with ability to access consumer unit and meter) and to build a computer desk in the space under the stairs. Photos of the space are attached to this job posting.
We are very pleased with the work carried out- The workmanship is excellent. We asked for a bespoke cupboard and computer desk under the stairs. VGT exceeded our expectations- they displayed excellent attention to detail, made very helpful suggestions about how to make the most of the space, and ensured we were happy with the work at each stage before they progressed. Would definitely use again and recommend.

I am knocking a bathroom and toilet into one room. I have knocked down the wall between them and removed the doors and frames etc. The opening is approx 2 meters wide by 2.4 meters high and I require a stud wall build with a door into the larger bathroom.
Turned up on time - carried out his work exactly as agreed and left the premises clean and tidy. Excellent job.
