Fire exit door appears to be coming away from the wall. Possibly due to rotten wood. Probably require replacement timber and rehanging of fire exit door Base of fitted furniture has been kicked through and requires replacing, thin flexible wood required as it is concave in shape Replacement sheet of plasterboard required to replace broken one. Photos are available via email.

Creation, fitting and painting of eight fixed shelves in chimney breast alcoves. Three of them are already fitted but need finishing (painting), the other five need materials to be sourced. Looks like maybe two days work?
Overall I'm really pleased. We had nine shelves built and fit into alcoves. Aidan was lovely to deal with, punctual and really helpful (he offered to fix a squeaky floorboard too!) as were his helpers. I'd definitely recommend A1 carpentry to someone else.

I'm not sure
1 door. Flat is within large building so door does not require letter box, but does need BS locks. Door can be painted or varnished. 76.5 inches high, 34.75 inches wide, requiring a made to order door. Would like a quote for supply and fit. Current door is too broken to repair.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : This work is not something we would normally deal with so have no idea on prices, therefore if it cost more than budget we would ideally need a rough estimate before agreeing the work Original : Require 2 x Dance Podiums for a nightclub. Would like them to be round, ideally made of wood and painted/covered. Need to be circular and stand approx 3 ft high on top of which there needs to be metal bars which end approx 3ft higher and a bar(s) that then runs the circumference connecting to the standing bars. I have a cellar that was converted to a garage. I want to seal the garage door aperture with a door / window conbination. The rollup garage door will stay (mounted on the outside) The main purpose is to insulate the cellar but retain the ability to move large items (furniture etc) in and out of it. The cellar is going to be used as an art studio/ workshop.

Staircase needs the existing banister fixed. The wood bars are broken in places and need to be replaced and the banister on the landing is weak and needs reinforcing. In addition we need the wooden frames to all the internal doors in the house replaced and new doors fitted. Jos is to supply and fit 8 pre-primed fire doors (4 with thumb turn locks, 3 not lockable, and 1 lockable but no thumb turn lock). Overhead closers, intumescent strips on all doors and appropriate hinges. There is also one regular door that needs hanging at the same time. The house is a period property in Gillingham, so some of the frames may need building out. I will be at the house for quotes on Wed 9th June. The work needs completing asap
