Job Updated : By the way - the general size of the desk (it's a corner one with a curve) is 1300 x 1100 (max sizes) and it's ~715mm high Original : We need a desk building in our office (based on Ashby Road in Loughborough). The space is a small 'landing' area and the reason we can't just go out and buy one is that the space is a funny size! I've drawn up a plan as to what size the desk needs to be; we just need it cutting out and fitting. I'm assuming it'll be MDF but would prefer something a little more like beech or maple if possible. We had a joiner in but he totally misunderstood the remit so I drew a plan and as he's disappeared, I'm trying to find someone to sort it out for us. If you can apply a finish to the desk (paint if needs be), then that's great too.

Budget Under £2,000

Job I need the two external doors replaced and 2 doors moved internally. I would also like a quote on some wooden laminate for replacement.

Comment One star just isn't low enough. I asked him to replace two doors, when the work was due to begin he drillled through the lock and broke in. The work he did was very poor. The doors were of shocking quality hey werent sanded, the paint looked like it had been just throwen at the door, the door was shut whilst the paint was still wet, the door didn't fit the frame...etc. I have called numerous times, but there has been no response. Truely the worst person I have had the unfortune of working with. Ewan

Job Just bought a traditional house in Loughborough and need someone to install new lock to back door which is original and may need quote for replacing along with frame.
