Double back door and wooden step need replacing...........also 2 short planks of decking altered so water drains properly and doesn't soak wooden frame of door. One window frame needs draft proofing.
Ed Orchard and his team provided us with an excellent service. They were punctual, trustworthy and totally reliable. We had a rather complex problem with our en-suite bathroom roof which Ed with his insightful knowledge of Victorian flat conversions found a solution for. This is the first time in five years that we have no problems with leakage! We intend on using him in the coming months for some more external and internal jobs and we encourage anyone seeking reliability and good workmanship to use Ed.

My front door (or the frame) has swelled due to damp. I need the door trimmed and reset. The door is a good one I believe and i've already sanded it down to the metal parts, so I suspect the frame might need to be trimmed rather than the door. It would also obviously need repainting.
By far the best tradesmen I've used in London for any job. Great value, very professional, polite, cleaned up after, excellent job. WOuld recommend for ANY carpentry work like doors, window frames, furniture etc etc

I require a carpenter to build 2 x bespoke bookcase units height 1700mm x width 700mm x depth 135mm. I also require the extension of an existing wooden storage cupboard in the kitchen. The total size to be approximately 1650mm high x 1300mm wide, depth 520mm - 120mm (triangular shaped depth). I was already have plans drawn up by a previous carpenter, so measurements are based on these plans. Material was to be MDF.
Peter built two bespoke bookshelf units for a second bedroom. The quote was good value and his workmanship was of high quality. He built the units off site and put them together at the property. Once the units were up he came back to paint them and did a very thorough job. I am very pleased with the work Peter has done, the bookshelves look great. Based on this work, I had no hesitation booking him for a second job.

Wall to wall shelves made for a wall which has a small alcove.Shelves to extend all the way along with the ones on the first part of the wall being smaller.There would possibly need to be four units. Some storage cabinets at the bottom of the alcove wall. The shelves need to accommodate a variety of book sizes though I can't be too specific on this as they are all in boxes. I would like them to go up to the ceiling.Height of wall 305cm. First part of wall 140 cm, alcove 12 cm, alcove wall 128 cm then wider at end because joins bay window 47cm. I wonder if you might be able to provide a quote for the work at the lowest price you can manage.
