Horizontal lid (for writing on it) of secretaire/cupboard has broken off. A bit of a polished wooden bead needs to be replaced - thats the piece which ties the lid to the furniture piece.
Really an excellent carpenter and talent, highly pragmatic, high-quality work and passion to get to a perfect result, thanks a lot!

Need to build a small classic white alcove cabinet with 1 or 2 shelves insides, measuring estimated H83cm by W53cm by D27cm. Qualified carpenters only. Budget is up to £300 for total work (as it's quite small)
Alan did a small alcove cabinet for me. I have the alcove cabinet for a while now, with no problem. So far so good, given his competitive pricing (and I've checked with many carpenters). He does offer good prices for carpentry work.

1 bookcase 220 high x 90 wide and 35 deep, plain design with straight lines and thick shelves about 5-7cm thick and a cabinet at the bottom with 2 doors. All in the same colour as the wall - skimming stone from Farrow & Ball. 1 x built in wardrobe 220 wide x 250 high x 50 deep with only shelves inside and 3 doors which we will wallpaper. one side has a sloping wall. The doors will be wallpapered.
The job was done very quickly and to the standards I was expecting. On the day, the fitters were very professional, efficient, friendly and clean. I would highly recommend Designed in Wood, and will definitely use them again if needed.

I want three shelves built in my small office. Very straightforward work from what I can see. I have pictures and measurements that I can send. One shelve needs to be; w90 d30. The second and third are on a corner so I want the shelve to have a curved edge the dimensions are w76 d60 (at the widest). Then painted and finished in off white (eggshell) (I can supply the paint).
