We're delighted with the job (new built in wardrobes and shelving unit). Darius is very skilled - the job is extremely high quality, precise and well finished. All completed on time. I would certainly recommend Eastcarpentry.Stephanie

Tomaz quoted for my job immediately and gave me a very good quote. He is 100% reliable, and did an excellent job. I would certainly recommend him and I shall be using him again for other jobs I need doing. His work ethic is second to none and does not finish until the work is done. He arrives on time and is a perfectionist. Fantastic carpenterAnthony
I need a carpenter to build a kitchen cupboard a round my boiler, and a small fitted door to a recess.
Chris was excellent, arrived on time, went the extra to find the appropriate materials to ensure the result looked its very best and with a competitive quote, I will be using him againSteven
We have fitted cupboards in our bedroom; these have an ugly open space above them (you can see through the artificial ceiling to the true ceiling). We would like to keep the storage space but make it more attractive, and so would like to fit some kind of box or boarding to hide the view of the ceiling. There are three of these spaces, all roughly a metre wide; the two side spaces are narrow in height (10-15 cm) while the centre space is 20-25 cm high.
Many thanks!
Robertas and his colleague did a good job fixing our cupboards; he offered advice on making existing structures safer, and completed the job within the required time frame. While some of the work could perhaps have been neater (e.g. mis-judged drill holes inside some pieces of wood - although these cannot be seen from the outside), the price quoted was extremely competitive. We were very happy with the finished product.Gabrielle
We need somebody to hang the door (the couldn't get one the same size measurement as our crrent one, so it's about a half inch big on length and width), so it will need to be sanded down to fit, then the handle and lock fitted.
As the door frame was wonky, there wasn't much he could do about that but he did a fantastic and fast job and I would definitely contact him again if I needed anything done.Emily

The hing of our living room door has come off. There is nothing wrong with the frame, but when the hinge was screwed in initially that person drilled extra holes and over time they have merged.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : Note: The step under the window is 300mm (1ft). Original : Hardwood partially glazed French doors and frame in need of repair or replacement. Apperture width 1080mm x height 2010mm - there is a raised 3000mm step under the window - hence the height! Bottom door step/jamb definitely need replacing and doors re-aligning and security furniture re-fitting. However, it may be advisable to replace the whole frame, double doors and door security furniture, depending on cost, timescales etc.I would like a site visit and verbal assessment asap.

A fix for a bottom sash cord in a 1.7m x 1.2m kitchen sash window. A little bit of rot and a refurb (draft exclusion etc) needed.
Also require it painted.
If you are willing to paint, also, then I potentially have two lounge windows and two bedroom sash windows which require draft proofing and painting.
The catch is that i need the kitchen window (at least) doing before Christmas preferably on the 17th, 18th and 19th December to co-incide with unexpected work days off.
If your skills extend beyond carpentry then I also need some other building work doing - replastering etc)
Can anyone help?
Many thanks
