Two jobs actually. First is to repair front door - it looks as if the frame at the side of the front door has come loose from the brickwork. However without removing the architraving it is difficult to be certain. I can send photos if you send an e-mail address. Second carpentry issue is to repair/ replace an existing wooden loft ladder at the same house in East Sheen SW14.
Paul was with us for a day doing some minor jobs such as fixing a front door frame which had come loose and refurbishing an old wooden loft ladder. He was flexible and did a great job.

Our double glazed window has a wooden frame which has deteriorated in a few places and also needs painting. Also we have a gas tap for our fire in the living room which needs boxing to stop a toddler accessing it easily
I have no hesitation in recommending Michael. I found him to be reliable and helpful and his work was of excellent quality. He clearly explained the work he would carry out. Small staircase in victorian property. I've removed the carpet and the stairs have been painted at the sides. I just want the stairs stripping back and sanding ready for me to stain and varnish. All nails and cosmetic work has been carried out so just sanding and prep.
I was really happy with the job that Tigran completed. He was reliable and on time and worked very hard. The job turned out to be hearder than expected and we ahd to book an additional day of work. Tigran finished the job earlier than a full day but becuase he had to charge for a full day he did other jobs that were not part of the initial quote. He excavated a section of concrete floor and sanded and prepped an internal door. I would thoroughly recommend him. He was very hard working and conscientious. Thank you so much. I'll be calling again when I have more work and money!

I need a pair of heavy oak external French doors hung. The finished frame, doors and ironwork will be supplied. The opening is freshly cut into a brick wall. No rendering or plastering required.
Phil provided a competitive quote and did a fantastic job hanging my doors. Would definitely recommend.

I'm looking for a talented joiner who can create a properly built, well-insulated, rodent free outbuilding for my back garden to use as a study all year round. This will replace the existing dilapidated shed. Rough dimensions are 360cm wide and 160-200cm deep. The current shed is sitting on a concrete base but I expect we may need to clear the site and lay new foundations. There are no placs as yet. It is worth nothing that the only access is through the house!

We need a bench seat with hinged top so we can use for storage. The idea is to have this fitted along the side of our dining area to run about 220cm and lead directly into a small storage cabinet about 60cm in width. We don't require a base for the bench storage as we have an oak wooden floor and the storage is for toys mainly at this stage. The exact details of the small storage cabinet will need to be discussed but it is basically to house the Sky box and DVD player safely on the top, perhaps a covered shelf and then two small doors to open underneath into the cabinet. We would like the wood painted to match our decor so the materials used need to be strong but the look of the wood is not important as we want it painted.
