I have two doors that need to be rehung (hinged side/direction of opening to be swapped). Also two doors to be replaced, one internal and one external (to rear of property, not a front door). Both replacement doors have already been obtained. These are not brand new items, both being from reclaim yards but are a generally good fit for the existing frames. One frame, the indoor one, will need some alteration. Possibility of some further jobs at house if standard of carpentry good!
Darren did a skilled job, to specification and at a very reasonable price.

Rey has done an excellent job. The job was done to a high standard and he was very professional throughout. He kept us informed about what he was doing and worked diligently and as per the quote. I would definitely reccommend him to others.

First class carpentry job on my stairs. Alex worked quickly and obviously 'knew his stuff'. His filling and paintwork weren't great but he offered to re-do it. I've decided to get a professional painter in to do it instead. Overall, a very professional job and great value.

I have a wooden step at my front door. To make this look nicer, I am looking to have a threshold step protector adapted or made to fit and cover my step, and for this to be fitted. My preference is for a brass protector. My steps measurements are approximately 30" x 6" x 1.5".
I had a front step which I wanted to cover. Mark came up with the solution, sourced the cover and then installed it. The job looks great, Mark was very reliable and good value for money.

We'd like the whole lot done in white, very simple & plain, but modern-looking. Possibly laminate. Boiler measures 41cm (length)x36cm (width)x82cm (h). Shelves x4 would measure 60-70cm (l)x 35cm (d) plus one longer shelf measuring 127cm.
Lovely job, superb craftsmanship and at a very reasonable price. We were very happy with the result.

Main front door is Victorian and needs repair and restoration. The seams have split which means the door has dropped and is difficult to lock. The seals have cracked around the lower central panel. Also small area on window sill needs replacing.

Corners of wooden window frames on bay windows have come apart. We require remedial work to remedy the separation and on other bits and pieces to windows. 2 large bays. Also, fix (possibly only gluing required) to architraving to internal door; fixing of internal door lock (we think this will require a new handle to be fitted to wooden door or possibly a new door);and a piece of wood to act as a draught excluder to be fitted to base of front door).

To source & procure materials and make shelves within both alcoves either side of the chimney breast in the living room. The shelves will be of different depths- on one side to accommodate a desktop computer on the lowest desk-height shelf with bookshelves above. On the other (window) side a 'wave' to accommodate a large TV, the same wave on a shelf for various digi boxes/DVD players etc below, and beneath that , following the same wave, five smaller 'cubby hole' shelves of different sizes for toys. On the same side above the TV shelf a few widely spaced straight shelves. I would like the fixings to be very discreet and to maximise the shelve's storage capacity. None of the walls are truly plumb, and their is variation in the rendering of the walls. I have designed it, but not measured or made and accurate plan.

Area - Dimensions: 172cmx207cm Shleves - There would be 6 fitted shelves with a support through the middle. Materials - Cost would include purchasing wood. I'm open to suggestions on the type of wood but I would like something on the darker end of the scale, which could include staining. Experience - Tradesman must have examples of previous bespoke bookshelf builds. Quotes - Only available for quote visits in the evening for the next 2 weeks.
