Make and fit shelves. Fit ladder to loft.
Price higher than quote, and loft ladder selection could have been better researched.

Hanging 11 internal oak doors with frames, architraves, skirting. Also window cills and staircase banisters/spindles. Needs to be all completed by 13th February. (Also some outside decking to be done afterwards - separate quotation).
Barry did a very good joinery job. He was helpful, punctual, reliable and easy to work with. His quote was reasonable and he kept to it. I would recommend him wholeheartedly.

to buy the supplies and build decking
Paul was a lovely guy. Always arrived on time as agreed and we were more than happy to leave him at the house while we nipped in and out over the three days he was here. Did a fantastic job with the decking, more then we ever expected and left our garden clean and tidy like he had never been.

Fit 2 new internal doors on the ground floor
I was very pleased with Marting Bell Buikding's performance. The work was of exceptional quality and it was clear that they are craftsmen who have considerable skill and experience. The quality of the work was of high quality. Totally reliable they turned up and undertook the work as agreed on time and without any delay. The cost for the work undertaken was reasonable and less than I expected to pay for such a quality outcome. I have no hesitation with engaging them again and I would highly recommend them to others. Nice people who know their business.

I need 9 new internal doors to be hung in my house. The job would entail removing the old doors, taking off the handles (as the same handles will be used for the new doors) and hanging the new doors.
The new doors were hung to an excellent standard. The attention to detail and professionalism was obvious. I will definately use John Porter again!

Hi I have a large wardrobe in my main bedroom which has a 2 inch gap at either side and a gap of about 6 inches at the top - I would like these gaps blocked off as I am getting the room decorated and don't want the hassle of having to move the wardrobe. Also the wood at the back of the wardrobe has become loose and needs to be re-attached and several of the drawers are also loose and need to be tightened. Some of the interior doors in my house do not close snugly and I would like a cupboard built at the top of my stairwell.
