We have a 1950s house which did have 2 reception rooms. It has been made into 1 large room and we are looking to restore it. The first job would be for us to cut into the plasterboard and reopen the doorway into the hall. We then need a carpenter to restore the wood fixtures around the doorway (which we have) and then hang a new door. After this, we would like parque flooring fitted into the hallway. This would be in 2 seperate jobs. Once this is done, we would like a stud wall building to seperate the rooms. I am budgeting just for the restoration of the door at the moment as I am hunting for the right flooring.
Great service, called and arrived exactly when agreed. Job done perfectly and gave great advice on further work. Really pleased- will be using again for more work as great to deal with and very reasonably priced.

small section of fascia (approx 9-10ft section) needs replacing and the guttering needs reattaching/replacing.
DC repaired a section of wooden soffit and facia. He replaced and made good all the damaged wood and re installed the guttering. He did exactly what he said with no fuss or bother. Excellent service and would use him again.

NOT THE ABOVE** My loft door has fallen down and needs replacing. Some of the plaster from the ceiling came off as well. Just needs replacing and neatening up a bit. Will send a photo if you can do the job.

We would like to replace an external door including the door frame, handles and locks. Prefer solid timber but would consider PVCu. The size of the current door is 1960mm x 760mm.
First Class Job. Mick took time to explain our options and their implications. He quickly supplied a detailed written quote and when we agreed to the work gave us an early date when the work could be carried out. On the day the work was carried out he arrived on time and carried out the work in a professional, efficient and friendly manner. When the job was finished he cleaned up and disposed of all the rubbish. We would definitely have him again.

Job 1) I need my bathroom finishing. Since getting a full-time job I have not had the time to complete the work. Everything is working but I need:- the bath paneled, the window lined, a cupboard with shelving built behind the bath, a shower/bath screen fitted and the skirting replaced. The cupboard will need to leave access to the plumbing for the shower. I would like the bath panel and cupboard door to be match-board (if that's what its called - looks like tongue and groove?) I have the original skirting and a reclaimed glass screen that was originally intended to be one side of a shower cubicle. Job 2) I have 2 doors that need rehanging - one to open the other way and made to look as if it always opened that way!, the other I need advice about how to manage it opening into a small/tight space.
