I've recently fitted a loft ladder and the trap door which used to go up and into the loft for access, now needs to be hinged and swing down. It also requires some sort of door frame to complete the job. The apperture into the roof is about 2' x 2' and the current door is mdf but I suspect it'll be simpler to create a new one along with the frame. The work will also require painting to finish. The ladder came with a pole operated catch mechanism for the door, that will need to be incorporated into it.
Russ has completed an excellent job providing precisely what we required. We hope to be using his services for more carpentry work around the house.
