I have just had 3 new internal doors fitted by Paul and his work is of a very high quality. He was reliable and the job priced was very reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

I require a garden gate to be made and fitted at the side of my house.
I employed this company to manufacture and fit a garden gate .8ft post were inserted 7" (yes inches) into the ground. No cement was used on one post as I was able to remove the post with one hand.Timber and fittings were of the poorest quality.He also cut the gate 12" short on the width. No money was paid and this "tradesman" was sacked.

Updated : Wooden front door needing replaced to 1960,s house. Original : I need a new door for a property I rent out. As it's rented I'm not looking to spend a fortune. I am looking for a dark wood door with a couple of glass panels either frosty or clear (I need to check with my tenant).
Tenants door was needing replaced and Ewan's company was the only one who tendered. There were issues over the first job, in so far as the frame should have been fully replaced, but possibly there were communication issues and he came back and completed the job to my satisfaction. One sour note was I didn't received a written quote. Lesson learned and I recommend you asking for one.

I have all the required wood and door for the job. I need the frame of the door extended slightly (about 7 or 8 inches)
Excellent selection for job. Contacted and assessed the job immediately, quote was very good. Arrived promptly and finished job on same day. Had a slight problem with a door part missing but went to get the required part himself. I would certainly recommend Alister to anyone who asked me about a joiner and will use him in the future for any other jobs I need done

We've just put a new boiler in our kitchen and it needs to be hidden behind new kitchen units but the existing kitchen units are now obsolete so new ones may need to be custom made (although we have found a stockist, the cabinets will be a standard size and so may not fit). A matching cabinet will need to be installed on the other side of the cooker as well.
