We are having our current flooring in the kitchen and hall replaced via our insurance company and have a date of Thursday 31st Jan for the company to remove the old flooring. We would lke you to look and try to fix our sub floor on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday (1st - 4th Feb) while the laminate floor is up. The reason we have these 4 days is that the company is coming back on Tuesday 5th Feb to fit the new solid / hard wood flooring. We only need a quote to fix / repair the sub flooring. The job can only take place once the laminate flooring is lifted and the extent of the uneven floor can be assessed. The full area to be replaced is 38 square meters. The two main problem areas are - between the kitchen and extension - hall Whole floor runs out by about 2 cm end to end We are getting new skirting boards so when the floor is replaced the new skirting will sit on the top and give a nice finish. Can you help? Timing: ASAP
Gareth and his work colleague arrived on time and got to work straight away on the job at hand. They cleared the original flooring and levelled the uneven subfloor. They worked well together and cleared up after themselves. I would recommend them for similar jobs. We have now had our new flooring fitted on top of the repaired subfloor and the results in the hall and bathroom are excellent. A job well done and for once under budget.

We would like some built in bookcases/shelving along one wall and possibly into an alcove in our dining room. The space is currently filled by three Ikea Billy bookcases and a couple of built in shelves in the alcove. We would like advice on the best way to use the space and store our books/dvds/cds. We're after something relatively simple and plain - nothing fancy. The room has a skirting board approx 6in high and a picture rail approx 1ft below the ceiling.

Marcos did quite a few jobs for us - new skirting, cutting the worktop and rounding the corners, planing the doors etc. He finsihed everything in a day and a half and cleared up brilliantly. His work was a high quality, nothing was an issue and was very good value. I would highly recommend him and would use him again

This company is the real Mcoy! Real skilled craftsmen who care about the result they leave you with. The bespoke nature of one particular part of the job was especially challenging, but it was done with great attention to detail, and that's the difference with people like this. Highly recommended. The job did take longer than the time quoted, but I would far rather have a delayed finish with a great looking result - it's that you live with for years to come. If you want a quality finish, these are the guys.
