Budget Under £500

Job I would like two built-in alcove cupboards in our living room (either side of where the fireplace would be). We don't have any plans drawn up and would like to keep the costs down as much as possible.

Job I need to have a plywood subfloor laid in a small bathroom in order that I can lay vinyl floor.All that is on floor at moment is the floorboards Size of bathroom approx 6 foot x 5 foot.

Comment We initially had trouble finding a Joiner that would give us a reasonable quote for a set of fitted mirror wardrobes. We approached the standard DIY centres and all of these gave outrageous quotes with a prolonged job time i.e. 11 weeks from start to finish! We logged the job on rated people and the next day we were approached by this company. We found this company to be very responsive to our queries and requests, they also had good suggestions for the wardrobe design; spotting and solving the problems we had missed. The quote was very competitive and their manner was very polite and professional. They were very quick and tidy, doing the job to a very high standard and with virtually no mess (My wife was very happy about this!). The wardrobe was finished in a day and the company re-arranged the fitting time and date to fit around us getting a new carpet into the room. We are very happy with our new wardrobes and the service we received, so top-marks! I would recommend this company to anyone, and we plan on using them again in the future. Robin

Job Repair/replace joist and wood flooring in a small bathroom, size approx 8ft x 4ft6ins

Comment Excellent job, no problems with this company, would recommend to friends and family anytime. It was only a small job ( replace bathroom floor ) but it was started and finished on the day agreed even though there was more work than first thought. It was a pleasure to have someone as professional to carry out the work and after the work was completed the area was left clean and tidy with all the rubbish cleared away. Dave
