We had new carpet fitted and our bedroom door needs to be shaved and refitted. I would also like to have two other doors re-hung and possibly have the five internal doors acid bathed to remove the old paintwork and therefore all re-hung. Timing: Within 2 weeks

Finally, my bookcase has been installed. The delay was principally caused by me and is not the fault of James Archer. James has done a fine, bespoke job for me and I am very pleased with the result. He is a really nice guy who knows his stuff, has design flair and delivers what he says. I would highly recommend him.

There are 8 doors in total: 1 is the front door to the flat, so a fire door. Yale lock and Five Lever dead lock to be fitted, but no letterbox. 1 other fire door for kitchen door. All others are internal panel doors. 2 doors are for a double doored cupboard. The bathroom door needs switching over so that it opens R to L, not L to R. No other complications. All standard sizes. All doors, hinges (larger for fire doors), catches, door handles etc are all new and already purchased
Did a nice job on our doors, for a great price. Turns up when he says he will, cleans up when he's finished or as he's going along if needs be. Nice guy who wants to do a good job.

13 doors hardwood pre finished veneer brand new doors to be hung and all fixtures and fittings attached. all materials bought.
Shaun fitted my expensive internal pre-finished veneer doors at my property. Having experienced numurous problems with previous tradesmen, I can GENUINELY say that Shaun is a true professional in the way he conducts himself and his work. He has restored my faith that decent tradsmen DO exist! Shaun was careul and efficient in his work and completed the job exceptionally in 3 days, arriving on time as promised and remaining true to his word. Polite and always cleaned up after himself - leaving the place in a better state than when he arrived! A fine example that there are decent tradesmen out there and I wouldn't let anybody else have fitted those doors. He consulted us before and during fitting every door to ensure we were satisfied, and provided useful professional opinion. Without doubt I will definetly be sending some more work his way and recommending him to my friends and family! Just be sure to keep the kettle on and keep him topped up with tea ad you wont go far wrong! Thank you very much.

I practise Taekwon Do. One of the disciplines hat we have to master, is break boards, to demonstrate our technique and strength. and I'm looking to have a board holder made for me. I have seen some plans, but I'm no good at carpentry. The link below, is from the UK International Taekwon Do Federation It shows plans for a wooden board holder. However, I would like one which is portable, so I would need to be able to dismantle it / asemble it easily. So, I'm looking for someone to be bale to adapt the design, so that it can be dismantled / assembled easily, and fit into a large holdall. I would like to build an understrairs cupboard in the void space beneath a 'dog leg' stair case. The cupboard needs to be tall enough to fit an ironing board / broom etc. Some adjustments to the lower section of staircase may be needed to make the cupboard enclosed, such as removing the lower section of hand rail and the spindles. In addition, 3 internal door to be hung downstairs to match the new cupboard door under the stairs.
