Want to install a new soil stack and connect to the main drain...assume the main drain is about 10 meters away
A very good bunch of workers who ended up working long hours to complete the job before xmas. The job turned out to be slightly different to what I originally thought, but the plumber worked out a better solution and got agreement before doing the work. Excellent job well done and I would highly recommend to anyone. They Installed a new en suite bathroom (bath, shower including pump for shower and toilet) with a new soil stack to drain into the existing external drain and removed the macerator.

A while ago, we had a blockage at the bend where the soil pipe meets the vent pipe as it goes underground outside. It was temporarily "fixed" by a tradesman who is no longer in business and can't complete the job. He used a plastic toilet pan connector to do the job. While this is still working, it needs a more permanent fix with proper clay/plastic pipe. I really don't know how much this is likely to cost, and am looking for guidance from you!
A good job done, reliable and very honest, explained exactly what he was doing and why. I would highly recommend them, thanks!

Updated : Improved Drainange and new soakaway Original : I have found an old soakaway that is continually filling with water to within 12-18 inches of the surface. the two pipes that lead into it have had a CCTV survey and they are old rainwater drainage that is no longer connected. The water has been tested and is not mains water so no major leak. The height of the water appears to be affected by the weather suggesting that it is groundwater related since there are no obvious storm water drains nearby. about 1-2 ft below the surface appears to be a layer of clay, I have dug down to about 3-4 ft and have not gone beyond the clay. I therefore suspect that I have groundwater being pushed up by the clay and causing a problem in my garden. Under the house is also damp and I believe this is part of the same problem. I am looking for a drainage expert to provide me with a practical and cost effective solution and to underatke the remedial work to get rid of the water.

I am laying a patio and there is no way of naturally draining it. Therefore I think we willl need to install a linear drain by the house. There is an inspection chamber close by (600x900).
