I have a soil pipe which is blocked by a tree root (i know this because i have had the pipe jetted and cctv`d).I have been told that the soil pipe is smashed beyond the blockage which is approx 2ft from the stack pipe. The best option i have been given is to dig up the garage floor, alter the angle the stack pipe joins the soil pipe and install all new piping to the manhole also altering the place where the the pipe enters the manhole. Is this my only option and what cost am i looking at. The length from the stack pipe to the manhole is approx 18ft. Thanks

I need to install a downstairs cloakroom, require the drains outside the house to be connected to a toilet (I think the road and pavement need digging up so require section 50 compliance) my upstairs bathroom I believe has the pipework routed through my garden. unfortunately it would be very messy internally to connect to this pipe (in my opinion)
