Rainwater leaking into cellar through the wall. Seems like a damaged pipe below ground on the outside of the cellar wall.
Leon arrived on time an investigated the problem. His diagnosis and advice has probably saved me money in capping a blocked pipe which was underutilised anyway and diverting the small amount of rainwater it drained elsewhere. Explained everything clearly and also unblocked a sewer pipe - an unrelated problem which would have have caused trouble down the line. Leon seems a real 'honest John'.

Blocked drain to front of house (sewerage drain). Have lifted manhole cover in driveway and the waste is backed up here, suggesting the blockage is away from the house. Not sure of the reason for the blockage.

dig down at the drains at the back of the house and put concrete in - was told to have that done by the man who unblocked a drain at the front of our house as the soil has come away from the house and you can see the drains around the extension especially at the back. No idea what it would cost so have put under £250.00.
so glad I used Rated.com as I had no idea who I could get to do the job - Mick phoned and knew exactly what I needed. He came to inspect the drains carried out a CCTV survey - located an open drain at the rear of our house - placed poison inside all manholes and baited the open drain - arranged to come back a few days later to carry out the excavation and capping of the drains. The workmen were pleasant, honest, trustworthy, competent and hardworking and cleaned up after themselves. I would thoroughly recommend MAP Drainage and Pest Services Ltd to anyone that has trouble with their drains. I even received a courtesy call from Mick after all the work was finished to make sure I was pleased with the finished work. If I ever have trouble with my drains again I know who I will phone. Couldn't thank them enough for their hard work. Thanks again.
