Our drains were backed up going into the main sewer system.
This has been a recurring problem that I have been managing with a set of extendable rods to push through the trapped waste built up in the pipes.
I have now diagnosed that the problem is that the main outlet pipe into the sewer is complete blocked (maybe collapsed) and, as such, all the waste is having to exit through the relief pipe. This means that waste has to build up before it can empty into the sewer, meaning other pipes gets blocked up quickly with all the waste just sitting there constantly.
I need a quote for someone to come in, confirm my diagnosis of the problem and fix it.
I need a price quote and a time quote also (I understand that it's difficult to provide an accurate quote for length of time the job will take without seeing or confirming the problem, but please base your time estimations on it being a collapsed main sewer pipe).
Thank you in advance for consideration.
Martin was brilliant and his flat fee pricing structure is so much better than other plumbers who charge £45 every 15 minutes plus a call out charge.
As it happens, Martin fixed our problem in 2 minutes, but I don't begrudge that at all. If things were more complicated, taking hours rather than minutes, it would've been the same cost. That ensures he isn't just wasting time and creating fake problems to rack up the time and his fee. That peace of mind is worth the money any day.Kristian
Burst sewer from outside house to inspection pit - original was not bedded in properly and has sunk and cracked. also blocked main drain
Our upstairs shower keeps getting blocked, and the drainage in the outside drains seems to also be blocked. The two may be related, but we need a quote to have someone come out to look at them and clear them.
drain for house in located in garden for my property. over the last year toilet does not flush properly and easily gets blocked, in addition there are sewage smells in my second bedroom which is located between my kitchen and my main bedroom. My flat is a ground floor flat.
Two external blOcked drains
A blocked/leaking downpipe is causing an internal damp problem. We would like the problematic stretch of pipe to be assessed and repaired or replaced.
