"He took my money and said he would come back and repair the turf, give me a 3 year guarantee, and a VAT receipt. He was lying and probably laughing at me for being so foolish as to pay him all of the money before he had finished. I sent him texts for five or six weeks after he finished and he first kept saying he was coming and then that his van had broken down and then that someone in his family was ill. After the beginning of July I never heard from him again. I even asked him to send me back some of the money so I could get the turf repaired but he never answered. He seemed really nice so more fool me. I really don't know how good a job he did until I see how it works on controlling the flooding in my back garden over the winter. My grass is ruined and in the spring I will have to pay out myself for new turf. I also have no guarantee. I would never have used him if he had not given the supposed guarantee. I would not recommend him and am sorry he feels he has to rip people off."

"He did the job at the end of May and took my money, promising to come back within a couple of week to repair the damage to my grass. He also promised to give me a three year guarantee on the work and a VAT receipt. In spite of text messages over the next two months he did not return. He gave me various excuses and refused to return any of the money so I could get my turf repaired. To date nearly four months later I have had no guarantee, no turf repaired, and no VAT receipt. This was very disappointing and I feel very let down by this service. I feel he took my money with no intention of finishing the job or returning some of the money so I could get someone else to repair the turf. I also now have no guarantee he would return if the soakaway is not working. "
