Property has recently been flooded, due to burst mains water pipe. drainage pipes need clearing out at front and rear of property. Also at 2nd property (approx 2miles distance) need back drain clearing, blocked with leaves.

I'm not sure
Removed floor of living room and soil infront of bay window, and discovered water in areas. Down pipe of guttering bloked and drain is either cracked or something, as this is the only pipe that is out in front of the bay. There was loads of ivy growing around the drain plus soil piled up against the house - drain looks new, but not sure what is going on for so much water to be leaking.
Rainwater pipe would not drain away, water appearing under front of bay and near shared wall with neighbor. Bill was there when I got to my house and had already detected the major problem, and dug up the area to find that the pipe had been repaired by the previous owners, and the contractor they hired had used an asbestos pipe and concreted it in, so the water could not possible run anywhere apart from into the front room. Bill ripped it up and replaced it with a new plastic pipe, and the fault was repaired. A job done under extreme weather conditions to a very high standard, and I am glad that I popped this job on this site as a last attempt before I hired an expensive and commercial firm. Very happy with the result and I would use this tradesperson and recommend him too other Ratedpeople users.
