The drain is not completely blocked but when the washing machine is on and doing the washing up it can't handle the volume of water and floods the patio. I bought some shoulder length gloves and had a good delve aound but couldn't find a blockage. I removed some grit and old food but nothing major. Have tried Mr Muscle drain unblocker but hasn't worked.
