Problrms with lounge lighting. Main ceiling light works intermittently and side wall light has stopped working altogether (have checked bulbs obviously) Also, upstairs landing light used to be able to be controlled from both upstairs and down, now can only be operated from downstairs.
Quick response to posting and turned up promptly. Very efficient and pleasant and would definately use again. Highly recommended.

We have a large bathroom cupboard which houses the boiler and washing machine. Currently the boiler is powered from a spur which is taken from the isolation switch ouside the bathroom. We would like to have the same for the washing machine with an isolation switch outside the bathroom. Timing: ASAP

I need what I think is called a split load RCD for my fuse box. It should be a fairly simple job as the electrics have recently been upgraded by BnQ whilst fitting a kitchen.
Pete is the friendliest electrician I've met. He came round within a day of posting the advert, gave the place a complete look over then explained it to me in non-jargon as to what the issue was. When he came back to carry out the work he was extremely friendly, explaining everything he was doing and why. He ended up going the extra mile for me at the end of the job and I'm extremely pleased with the outcome. I will certainly use Pete again - highly recommended!

I have 6 sunken spotlights in my kitchen & hall that don't work properly. The lights stop working a short period of time after they have been replaced, sometimes this can only be a few weeks. I buy good quality bulbs so don't think that is the problem. Also there are other lights in the kitchen that I haven't replaced in over 18 months and work fine. There are also a couple of similar lights in the bathroom that come on initially but a few minutes later go off. All this is leading me to believe that the problem is not just the bulbs blowing.
