Light fitting failed in the bathroom and plunged us into darkness. We have removed the offending bulb, a small "U" tube and the RCD reset ok until we flicked the hallway light switch when the MCB flipped out and the RCD went off. Sockets are all working ok. ...
Excellent service! Ryan was able to come round within hours of posting my job. Very friendly and very good hourly rate!! I strongly recommend him and will certainly be calling him again should any problems crop up in the future.

We want some lights moved to another place in the ceiling of the kitchen, all the switch covers changed in the upstairs of the property, some more power points added in the bedroom and some one to look at our fuse box possibly replace.

The electrical sockets in my newly-purchased flat have been installed by another sparky - screwed into the wall box with the wrong screws and glued cheaply into place. In one case, the wall box has come loose and I can't get the socket or the box to fit back properly. I'd like a per-socket quote for repair/refitting of two electrical sockets. They won't need new boxes or panels, or new wiring - simply re-installing properly and safely. The reason I ask per-socket is because I have another 10 sockets in the flat that may also require checking. Thanks

The switch that controls the electric power of my shower (situated on the wall outside the bathroom) seems to be damaged, presenting a slighly burning smell and turning into a yellowish colour. Not sure if it will need just fixing or replacement, but I think the second option will be more likely. Need someone as soon as possible. Thank you.
