Job To run power from the home to a new outbuilding (conduit already in place but not the 10mm SWA cable) to supply via new consumer unit: 6 single and one double flourescents plus 3 double 13amp sockets switches etc and a further extension to double 13 amp socket in a greenhouse.

Budget Under £4,000

Job The house needs a complete rewire and new consumer unit, house consists of porch, hallway stairs & landing, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, downstairs WC, living room, dining room, flat-roofed extension room, kitchen, utility room; also detached garage. Details of number of sockets and other items required TBC, to be discussed at time of quote. We are in the process of buying this house and are hoping to get the work done before moving in. We have not yet exchanged contracts on the purchase but would probably need work to take place in early October. Access to the property needs to be arranged with the estate agent.

Comment Wilkins & Son did an excellent job of our re-wire. Simon and his employees took great care to do everything properly without rushing the job or cutting corners, and were very clean and tidy. Simon was very helpful in pointing out things we may not have thought of and making useful suggestions, he discussed every detail of the work with us as he went along and was happy to let us add/change things as work progressed. We felt happy to trust them with our spare key so that they could get on with the job while we were both out at work. We would definitely use them again. Vanessa
