Disconnect light fitting from extremely tall ceiling and replace with ceiling rose
The two guys who arrived were polite, friendly and tidy (they used dust sheets and swept up after themselves). They also checked for safety and I was issued with a certificate. A job well done.

600 X 600 LED lighting panel from the USA which has been certified for use in the EU with the requisite CE, RoHS, and energy rating now needs to be tested for use in the UK. It will be certified for use in the UK in commercial applications, both for new builds, and retrofits, under EU Harmonised Standards, so the tests will only have to be electronic. The units come with a built in dimmer feature which can easily be applied - so this will have to be tested. Testing for use with PIR sensors would also be useful. A well conducted and successful test should result in the testing company being awarded good sized contracts in the future for commercial contracts in the South West.
