Since I had an Eaton Memera Consumer unit fitted the underfloor heating trips the fuse for the circuit its on. With my old fuse box the floor heating worked fine, now I have to leave the heating off. I am trying to establish if the fuse in the Eaton can be replaced so the heating can work as before - I am not interested in ripping up the floor to check the heating circuit.
Great service, quoted a reasonable price for a simple job. Would definitely use again... thanks.

we currently have PIR lighting front and back but they haven't worked for ages and the fittings have ceased so need to replaced.
Ernie responded very quickly to my query and was totally flexible in when the work could be done to suit my timetable. He was very professional and courteous throughout and we asked him to complete other work for us which he did to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend Ernie for the quality and value of his work.

Don't wish to mess with fusebox, breakers. Came home and switched on lounge light. Blew and none of the lights in the house work. Everything else electrical working. Coincidence bonfire night. Wasn't in the house causing anything to overheat etc. May need to just trip the breaker like in Spain but as electrical do not wish to mess around with it.
Quick,reliable,friendly and professional. Entire house lighting fixed in under an hour.Changed breaker and fuse to a 6 amp for me. Was very happy and willing to do some additional small odd jobs such as check flickering kitchen light and screw in a loose socket so safe and secue as charges a flat rate for the hour £45+vat. Haven't had to deal with electricians before but thought the hourly rate was a bit expensive compared to a 2nd tradesman but new breaker and amp free of charge Also work carried out on a Sunday so very convenient for me.

Installation of bathroom extractor fan. Bathroom has no window but has existing connections/ venting through loft and out of roof. Previous extractor fans have failed due to condensation coming back down venting when fan not in use.

We have a fluorescent fitting which keeps blowing the fuse - the fuse has been replaced but when it is switched on it blows the fuse again. Apparently it is the light switch that needs sorting.
