I require to reinstate the supply of electricity to a detached garage. A power supply is available from a neighbouring garage and the building has previously had a supply but it is now dead. The circuit would be for the running of a couple of electrical appliances and central lights.
Hugh and his son were first class. The job was well specc'ed he arrived for several visits dead on time. The quality of the job was great, neat, using quality F&F and I was really impressed. The price was reasonable for the amount AND the quality of work done. Thanks also to his wife, who ensured all the correct PAT testing certificates were completed and the job correctly invoiced. I need to get an earth cable fitted between a newly installed earth box and my fuse box. I may not have the right terminology but I hope this describes the work well enough. I'll also need a certificate saying it's been done.
Unfortunately for me the job was bigger than I'd first thought and we needed a new fuse box installed. Robert made sure the electrician and an apprentice (and I like the fact there are apprentices) were available to work on the job until it was done. In the end this meant coming through to Edinburgh 3 days running but this was never a problem. Price seemed fair and communication with company fast and easy. Electrician himself did a very tidy job and left no mess.

We need the Internet wire run across the hallway, out of the house and back into the office. Some of our plugs are very low and need raising also. Will need big drill to get through external walls!
Steve came round expecting to lay a cable, but instead sorted our Internet issues without drilling through our walls. Much appreciated! He was here ages trying to sort it and would only charge for succeeding and not how long it took.

Rearranging the storage and panel heaters in the flat, need an electrician to run power to the units. We are moving a storage heater to a different room, should just need an extension to the cabling and then bringing up from the crawl space. We are also adding a panel heater, there should be space on the fuse box for an extra panel heater but this will need cable to be run from the fuse box to the room via the crawl space. The heating system (comfort plus with a radio switch) was installed circa 1995.
