"the plumbing/electrics was carriedout to my satisfaction, price wasn't too expensive, but... this tradesman also undertook some other work needing attention. Laying laminate flooring/decorating walls in my bedroom. It has been a catalogue of errors. I paid the account on completion only to get shot of the guy. Mind you he did say that any subsequent faults would be put right. Well... tomorrow he will be given a BIG list of anomalies in each undertaking. Room needs re-papered. (some patches of unpainted wall/wallpaper coming adrift at seams/paste was used on the OUTSIDE of newlly-papered walls leaving shiny shaded areas at seams.) There are a couple of gaps in the laminate flooring. why??? Paint on curtain lining. There is a lovely old fireplace in room which is quite a feature. This part of the room has been photographed by the guy to use on his web site's portfolio of jobs completed. What can't be seen though is the gloss paint which has dripped down on to the wallpaper to the side of it. Nuff said "
