Replacing the old style wire fuse board with new 10 way fuseboard MCB etc.
Very pleased with the work and the price. Gave a prompt and very competitive estimate and carried out the work on a day and time that was convenient to me even although it was the weekend. I would not hesitate to use hugh again and will also be recommending him to everyone who needs electrical work doing. Very very happy with the job done! Pat Carr

Spotlights not working all 5 are on one switch and went to turn them on and the just didn't work. Checked fuse and switch looks fine
Found the problem and sorted it quickly! No extra cost just the callout fee. Definitely use again.

I have a flat at the Caley Village near Haymarket. It is HMO'd. Before the next license renewal the following works must be successfully completed:
1. An Electrical Installation Condition Report must be completed (this supersedes the current PIR).
2. 2 addition electrical sockets must be fitted in 2 bedrooms.
3. A battery operated carbon monoxide alarm which complies with BS EN 50291:2001 must be fitted in the kitchen.
Required electrical upgrade work for the next HMO license for a flat I own. LPS provided sound, practical and cost-effective advice. Their employee turned up at the scheduled time and the upgrade work was completed that day. Will use LPS again for any future electical work that I require.

Small job to replace a fluorescent strip light. Like for like replacement of existing unit which has had it.
Laurie from LPS was very efficient. Called straight away, was able to fit the job in at short notice and did a good job replacing a light fitting. Great experience for a little job. Happy with the price and would use again.

2 lights in hallway one worked perfect until other light installed now both lights look like they are on a dimmer switch.
Job was done really well and on time that was agreed. Would recommend this electrical company again well satisfied.

Mains-powered smoke alarm installation (according to BS 5839 Part 6 regs) in the hallway of a flat. Installation location is on the ceiling above the circuit box. wall switch in hall tripped fuse box i switched it back on hall light came on but only with other switch me being me i opened blown switch up there was a cable cover that had slipped exposing a bare wire so i took the switch off taped the wires up reset trip switch used other switch and that caused the trip switch to trip again now no light in hall ,also looking for sockets to be changed over 4 double wall and one light switch

I have a 1 bed flat with no gas in block. Two 20 something old white meter heaters and both have seemed to have stopped working. Will not give out any heat.
