Budget Under £1,000

Job I have currently got some construction work going on in my garage which is being converted into a recording studio. I need the right amount of power to run guitar and bass amps (between 100w and 2000w) and all the studio equipment (mixing desk and outboard equipment). Lighting would also need to be wired in. The quote from the builder's electrician says: Estimated work To supply and install small 4-way unit in house to supply garage To Supply and install SWA cable from house and install 8-way consumer unit in garage In the house run 10mm twin and earth from consumer unit to run in trunking round behind settee up to small box on wall to meet up with SWA outside. To run 10mm SWA from house to garage clipped on fence Test and Certificate Maximum demand is 32A. Will this be enough for what i want to do? This electrician is asking for £812.60 but as money is tight I would preferably like to beat this quote.
