Richard's work is excellent!! He came on Saturday morning and got everything done within 2 hours (other people said it would take at least half day). Richard is also willing to give profession advices, which helps us to make future decisions. We would highly recommend Richard. Actually we have already asked hime back to do some more work. He will be our first contact point. Richard is always there regardless no matter how small the job is.

Straightforward job. One light fitting. Happy to have done around 5-6pm.
Excellent. I needed a light fitting sorted out, which turned out to be more complicated than I at first thought. He went and got what was needed to complete the job, and did so calmy and efficiently. All done the same day I posted the job. You can't get better than that! A real gentleman. Thank you.

Total house re-wire, a couple of security lights and a couple of extra sockets in the bedrooms.
Overall, the service was good and, compared to other quotes I got, good value. The electrician was very polite and respectful. Almost immediately, I knew he could be trusted and, on many days, I left him alone in the house... as I had to go to work. I even gave him keys to the house when I thought I would be out before he arrived in the mornings. He continuously tidied up after himself... taking away all the rubbish that accumulated. I was told the job would take 2-3 weeks... it actually took 4 weeks. Having said that, I have 3 extensions on my house, a separate garage and a shed, therefore, the extra weeks work was not really a surprise. Do not have your house re-wired unless it is absolutely necessary. My house had original wiring and had reached the point of being dangerous. It is very intrusive... which I was forewarned about by the electrician. The carpets have to be pulled up, floorboards are taken up, skirting boards are removed, walls are channelled into and I now have the job of re-decorating the entire house! The whole process is thoroughly depressing.
