Fit new ceiling light in lounge and new light switch. Partner tried to fit and lights fused. Everything working now but I have old wiring and old style fuse box.
Good communication, completed job satisfactorily. Polite and informative. Would hire again.

About to buy a new home and want to test out the electrical systems in the house as the building surveyor's report said that the board was 'non-standard'.
Check the main board, all sockets and light fittings to determine if there is an issue that might need rectifying before we buy the house.
First step would be just to look at the main board and quote for repairs / maintenance that may need to be carried out.
Professional, knowledgeable, reliable and friendly.
Good service, great simple explanations about the job - won't hesitate to recommend.

Re-wiring of ceiling-mounted isolation pull switch required for a power shower (in bathroom).
Great service, I posted the job late on a Tuesday, and Alan had arrived by 11am the next day and the job was complete before 12pm. My pull-cord switch was fixed, but unfortunately this didn't solve my original problem with my electric shower, which I think I will need to get repaired / replaced.

Garage: ceiling centre fitting is broken & needs replacement with fluorescent tubes to provide greater light. Living room: double dimmer switch needs to operate appropriate set of lights. Stairs / landing / bathroom / dining area: diy return switches operate unpredictably and need checking and adjustment.
William responded quickly to my posting.
He performed a number of jobs that had needed doing for some time:
(1) Replaced broken 100w bulb in garage with double fluorescent fitting and tubes;
(2) Fixed flaky stairs / landing / bathroom return switches;
(3) Replaced faulty dimmer switch in dining area;
(4) Reversed double dimmer switch in lounge; and
(5) Diagnosed a fault with down-lighter in kitchen and improved it somewhat (but really needs replacement).
William arrived on time, was courteous and competent, and supplied all the materials for an inclusive charge. I would use him again, and recommend him to others.

I'm not sure
I have a storage heater in a bedroom that is not working despite having had a new element fitted. I need it to be either fixed or to have a new one fitted.
Hussein successfully mended my storage heater and was professional and friendy. Even though the problem took some time to diagnose. I was always impressed with how I was kept informed as to what was happening and Hussein was easily available to contact and always returned any calls or replied promptly to messages left. He is a conscientous time keeper.
