This will involve two visits since the electrical work needs to be done before the decorating and then a return visit after the decorating has been done.
A great electrician. I would certainly use him again. Very reliable and punctual.

Our operations team have raised the issue that as there are no spare ways in the customer's outbuilding fuseboard and since this is a sub-main unit the customer needs to get an electrician to replace this with a distribution board unit that will provide a spareway for an MCB which we will connect to. We are not allowed to install a garage board to a sub-main unit. In addition the electrician must assess if the existing cable is adequately rated for a 16A MCB to be installed in the new consumer unit.

I have a few minor electrical fittings to put up and I wondered if you could give me a day when you can fit me in. They are mostly replacements, so no new wiring will be needed (other than the three outdoor jobs) and I will aim to supply all the fittings, but not any cable needed. Jobs are as follows : Utility Room, replace central light fitting. Lounge, replace both ceiling roses- these are two way. Hall, replace ceiling rose Landing, replace ceiling rose -these are two way, with on and off from in the hall. Bedroom 1, replace ceiling rose Bedroom 2, replace ceiling rose Bedroom 3, replace ceiling rose Bedroom 4, replace ceiling rose Main bathroom, replace light fitting and pull switch. En Suite, replace light fitting and pull switch. Outdoors above patio doors from dining room, replace external light. Note this appears to be plugged into a 13 amp socket in Bedroom 4, so this may need some thinking through about an alternative approach. Wiring needed. Fit new external PIR light above garage doors. New wiring needed here, but there are some strip lights in the garage loft to maybe get in to. Fit new external PIR light near front porch. Wiring needed. I think that is it, so if you have any queries please come back. If you could give me an indication of your costs that would be great. I called it a days work in the title to this email, but I have no idea how long theses things will take, so forgive me for being presumptive. kind regards Roger Dodd

We are renovating our house, but have to live in it at the same time. We would like a quote to supply and install a new isolator adjacent to the relocated meter in the outside meter box. Whilst the isolator is being installed, we would like to install a new consumer unit for a five bedroom house and connect it to the isolator, distance approx 5m, requires drilling through a 500 thick rubble fill wall. Finally, to keep the existing electrical system powered, a cable, approx length 15m, will have to be run around the outside of the property to the existing consumer unit, requires drilling through a 500 thick rubble filled wall.
