I live in a new ( 2004) wooden framed house. We would like to fit an induction hob in the kitchen, to replace the gas hob. We would keep the electric oven that -basically - plugs into the kitchen ring main. A brief look at the consumer unit indicates that there is no provision for a supply to an electric hob. There are however two spare ways (MEM Unit). I would welcome advice on possible re-arrangement of the MCBs routing of cable and cost to execute the work. I will have to remove the oven to check dimensions of present hob cut out.
