Two things: An engineer from British Gas failed my boiler in an inspection because he found the electrics in my flat have reverse polarity.
Also, some plug points in my flat have been broken/vandalised by past occupants and need replacing/repair.
Friendly, pleasant, turned up when he promised he would. Answered my questions clearly.

I'm having problems with my main circuit board tripping. I've had someone in and he can't find the halfway point to check where the problem is as whoever wired the property originally did not do it properly. It is very possible that the fault lies in one room.
Robert was a true and brilliant Sherlock Holmes!! I had an electrical fault somewhere in a system that had been incorrectly wired. He gave me a fixed and extremely reasonable price and spent the whole day searching for the fault. He fully explained everything and I will definitely have him back to re wire and install new lights as well as use him for anything that arises in the future. I will also be recommending him to others. A genuinely nice and honest man. A rare find.

Fitted a new ceiling light and blew a fuse. Fitted a new fuse (old junction box) but no power within the lighting circuit. Power circuit OK.
Arrived on time, established the fault quickly and restored electricity efficiently. I would use him again and recommend him to others.

Hi,
I have a contract for 12 months with a housing association in North West London. I need 2 sparks who are fully qualified to carry out domestic installations. These involve rewiring the kitchens back to the board (ring main, boiler and cooker circuit), installing a fan and a cooker hood. Also works to bathrooms involving new 2d fitting, pullcord and fan. DB changed and completion certificate.
We are doing these in 1 day with teams of 2/3. We make one final visit 4 days later to screw back the plates and snag our own work.
You will be on a day rate and MUST have all tools, transport and cscs. Cscs can be arranged with me for a fee.
This is ongoing until next March with a view to continue subject to extension of contract.

On Tuesday night I found the lights of. reset the fuse box and the lights come on but the boiler wont restart. The boiler man came over and has concluded that the problem is the power, whilst the main power is on the boiler won't work. he recieved a few shocks from the boiler and I need someone to come round incredibly quickly to fix this.
