Job 1: I need two lights taken down from the ceiling and replaced with two new lights (with spot light fitting). The ceiling is not very high. It can be reached with a step ladder. The new lights are these: Job 2: A wall light switch is loose in the plasterwork. It needs to be re-fixed into the wall.
Joe responded promptly and politely to my job post. The job was completed within two days of posting. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave good advice about saving money on electricity. His service was value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to use Joe again or to recommend him to others.

Following a recent electrical installation report I need the following repairs to a two bedroom 1st floor flat: 1. To supply and fit 2 no RCD protection to lighting circuit and socket circuit. 2. To hard wire light switch in lounge and rewire 3. To create ring circuit as existing kitchen circuit is only radial 4. To carry out main earthing to water pipes.
Charles was more expensive than some other quotes but we went with him because of the way he explained what worked needed doing and his friendly, trustworthy manner. He was very reliable and did a good job making good any damage. We'd definitely recommend him and would employ him again.

Dishwasher installation : I need a new power outlet needed for a dishwasher to be installed - also would like the connection to the water under the sink and waste pipe after I have removed the kitchen cupboard.
Was a much more complicated job than expected, but Chris and his son finished on the same evening, even though it was 8pm. Very happy with the standard of work, I will definitely be using Saturn as my local electrician. Highly recommended.

Some wall plug sockets downstairs are not working. We moved two plugs when we had built in cabinets installed. Everything worked for a few weeks but then most of the plugs downstairs stopped working suddenly.. Emergency house insurance electrician managed to get some sockets working by disconnecting a ring on the circuit board? He could not examine all of the sockets because two plugswere behind the cabinets. The carpenter has come back and cut holes in the backs of the cabinets so now we have access to fix the problem. A second problem is that during building work we have a problem with one of the light switches.
Frank contacted me promptly, and came at short notice when he said he would. He spent 2 hours trying to fix the problem and was able to partially restore function to half the plug sockets downstairs. The others need rewriting! He was very reasonable and pleasant. I would use him again.

No hot water - economy 7 - light switch light on on peak switch isn't coming on which suggests there is an electrical fault. Pump switch light does come on. Heating fine. Anyone available to investigate ASAP?
Responded within 15 minutes, said they'd be there within 40 minutes... and they were! Great service, great value and a simple problem fixed within the hour. I'd definitely use them again!

hi i have a property with tenants in and need to get the single oven changed over i have a new single oven on site and the old one is in situ, i need you to take out old one and take away and then install new one, i know its only a 30minute job but i do not live to close so if i can do it reasonable and you are local im a happy man based in high road east finchley

I need an electrician/handyman combo for this job, which is to rejig our entertainment system. LOUNGE: Remove existed pasted skirting board to allow access to route cables by floor. Cut vertical channel in newly plastered wall - skirt to floor (plaster skim on brick, approx 2.5m high) and relocate 1x double 13A socket from high level to low level by skirt. Install 3 x new single gang wall boxes for new aerial sockets (cables/sockets to be installed by my aerial fitter). KITCHEN: Cut vertical channel in newly plastered wall (plaster skim on brick, approx 2m). Fit 2 single gang wall boxes. BEDROOM ABOVE: Lift floor boards (and replace after) and route long Scart cable (provided by me) in floor void feeding the two vertical channels cut below in Lounge and Kitchen.
Nicolay did a very good job for us which was to cut channels in two newly plastered walls to hide a new satellite and aerial cable installation, install 3 single gang wall boxes and relocate a power socket to a new location. He was very precise, thought about what he was doing before he did it, carried thje work out safely and listened to our concerns/suggestions. He made his own drawings and notes on what we wanted a pre-job visit to quote. The price was very good, and the end result (including the plastering to make good the walls) was excellent. We'd use him again. Only slight criticism was that we were left to do the cleaning up ourselves, but with the price we got, we didn't mind. Thanks!
