Two jobs: 1. There is a socket in the kitchen where the previous owners had their washing machine directly wired into the wall. I need to either change this to a plug socket, or have the new washing machine directly wired into the wall. 2. My fuse box is very old and needs replacing, preferably with a circuit breaker. The whole electrical system probably needs testing as well. Happy to have quotes for one or both job but obviously it's easier if you can do both at the same time.

Check wiring on a mains powered heat alarm situated in kitchen, we have a new alarm, which came with new wiring, but can run off current wiring, but might want to have the new wiring connected to the mains (if that makes sense). Also to check the flat's fuse box to ensure all is ok, one of the fuses does need replacing (I think it's a 5 amp fuse or trip, or something). One morning this week would be ideal. Shouldn't take too long I wouldn't have thought.

Lights in Kitchen and lounge, rest of house not affected, lights in kitchen make a pop noise when you flick the switch in fuse box. We have spot lights in kitchen so my guess is maybe a fualty transformer box thingy is causing it to trip, but thats a total guess. Wife at home today so that would be ideal if someone could come look today.

Just moved in. Looks like 2 fuse boxes for the house. New meter just installed. Need the elecs checking for safety and remove internal wall lights and cabling.
