Hi, I have just had a water escape from above flat and need to make sure light fittings are safe as I have electronic dimmers and if I switch mains fuse jumper on, they are on constantly and get hot and may cause a shock. This is quite urgent as we don't have lights at night! Thanks

We have a Devi underfloor heating system. The floors aren't heating - it seems to be a problem with the thermostats as they keep tripping out. Need an electrician to have a look at the thermostats and fix as necessary.

Replace current light fightings in bathroom, 2 bedrooms and an entry hall. All the fixtures currently have light attached but new ones have been bought to replace them. None of the fittings are broken or require repairs to wiring.

Earth fault in the ground floor ring main. The break needs isolating and the wiring either repaired or replaced between the breaks. Alternatively, if easier convert to two radials. Modern consumer unit, MCBs and RCDs. I have already had a good electrician in but unfortunately he is too busy to do the job.
Kevin and his workmate turned up on time as agreed (always a good starting point). He was easy to talk with and worked conscientiously. I was particularly concerned about lifting floorboards in my Grade II listed house and he was very careful about doing that. He found the fault and charged me what was agreed in advance. I would use him again.
