The job comprises two parts. Two are redundant central heating cables and the second part comprises a redundant mains source, which may need investigating to see if it feeds other parts of the house. Details follow, please click on the pictures below to see larger pictures. I would expect the job to take between 1 to 2 hours and I would be happy to pay the appropriate going rate for these works to be carried out. I'm looking for quotes from professionally qualified electricians who will certify their work. I need the work carried out as soon as possible, preferably on Monday 30th April. I'm happy to pay cash.

The upper circuit lights (insulated by the same fuse switch) do not work in the upstairs bathroom, master bedroom and hallway. The children's bedroom light on the same circuit is working. It might be that the connection is broken either through burn or damage,. Am concerned about the safety and would like this to be looked at the soonest possible as at the moment have isolated the upper circuit for safety reasons and in the evening we have no light upstairs. Am of course looking for a competent qualified electrician at a fair price as constraints of the budget.
Excellent communication and updates when unable to arrive at the agreed time and did not leave you waiting in a limbo like some other tradesmen do. Did stick with the agreed quotation which was based on the job and not on hours. I would highly recommend this person to all my friends as am happy with the job he has completed. Many thanks.

I need someone to take a look at my circuit breaker box. The power to the house keeps cutting out. The main circuit breaker trips sometimes, but not all the time when the power goes out. Sometimes when the power cuts out, it's not always a straight out power cut. It 's sometimes like a gradual cut. Much like the batteries in a tourch running out of power until it eventually completely dies out. I have to switch everything off in the house, then turn the circuit breakers off and on again in a slow and one-by-one fashion. I've noticed there is a buzzing / fizzing noise coming from two of the circuit breakers when i turn them on. I suspect them being the culprits. If i leave them two off the electric appears to be fine. One of the two breakers power the mains plug sockets in the house, and the other breaker powers the utilities in the kitchen (washing machine, gas boiler, cooker etc.) We've tried to isolate the fault by checking if it was something we had plugged in that was causing the cut, but even when we tried one appliance at a time, there was no logic to when it would cut out. For example if i turned the TV on it would be fine one minute. But perhaps on subsequent tries later on in the day it could cause the power to cut out completely in the house. This applied to everything including the stuff in the kitchen which is on a seperate circuit. There have been times we've tried unplugging everything in the house including the fridges. But the two circuits would still trip if we turn on even one socket / appliance / light switch. The breaker box is a GET Shupa which i think is a German brand. The two circuit breakers in question are 32AMP Single pole G32B1M. The Box has one Double pole RCD G63R30 main switch. Two single pole 6AMP 6B1M. and 4 single pole G32B1M (2 of which i suspect is faulty). Would appreciate someone to fix the problem. I'd like a quote before the work begins, cost for us is a big factor at the moment. Many thanks! :)
