My fuse box has a circuit that keeps on tripping, it is for the upstairs lights. A wire just above the fuse box that goes upwards sparks and there has been a smell of burning. There are about four wires that come out at this point one of which is an (green / yellow) earth wire.
Very punctual. Lee is a thorough and dedicated worker. He not only did the job requested but made sure that my entire home electrics were safe and for no extra charge repaired anywhere unsafe. He took the time to show me alternative items required and went with me to purchase the ones I selected offering his advice so I made the right choice at the best price. He left my home neat and tidy and gave a full guarantee on his work. As an older single lady I felt at ease with him and highly recommend him.

Updated : just to clarify - there is an existing power socket and I would need to install an additional one just above it at ceiling height. Original : I need a double power socket to be installed in a new built flat just above the existing power, very close to the ceiling. Plaster wall. The wall needs to then be brought to the original condition. Quotes to email only please. Budget - £50.

Neither my storage heating nor my hot water boiler works. I think it's the feed for the economy 9 that's broken, however the main circuit breakers in the fuse box seem to be OK. Need someone to come and look into it and fix the problem!

I'm not sure
Hi, my electric shower stopped working last night suddenly. Power lights are still on but there is no water coming out. Water supply is fine in rest of the taps through out the house. It's a Gainborough Energy 2000X model , never had problem before. We had installed a new shower head and pipe last year, so don't think that's blocked and it was working normally, and stopped suddenly. Need to know if it's repairable or do we need to change it....
