I require an electrician to install two ceiling lights at different points, and switches to turn them on. Also I have the floor boards up in various places and there are many wires existing that may no longer be required, but could also be live so need testing/removal. The electrical meter for my flat and that above are in the hallway, and I'm interested in moving them, if it can be done. Flat undergoing extensive renovation at the moment so potential for more work.
I was very happy with Greg's work. He tested all wiring (took out things that were obsolete, made safe things that were not), installed an entirely new circuit of 2 lights with switches up and down, and also a couple of wall sockets. I was on site for all work which he explained as he did it, and so I can vouch for the safety and sense of wiring within my own house, which was appreciated. Greg was on time, worked all day and I would definitely use him again as I know he gave a good price for safe work.

Emergency: RCD blown. Kitchen sockets and fridge out of order.
Daryl from pro flow called me within 5mins of my job post. He talked me through the immediate problem and was able to allow me to fix for interim. He then arranged a time that was convenient or me to check it out properly. He found a slight issue that was fixed within 10minutes. He performed a complete check and charged me £110 for 30mins work.. Although happy with the service, the cost was overpriced. Probably would use him again though as he was polite and explained what was wrong very clearly.

There are 2 flats in my building. My flat has 2 entry buzzer phones on different floors, one works, the other doesn't. The lady in the flat below doesn't have an entry phone so wants a new one. The lock to the main road is very flimsy and after a recent burglary we want a more secure lock fitted than can be opened from the buzzer in our flats. I can probably do without a new system seeing as one of my phones works as we'd like to keep the cost down but agree the lock needs to be a more secure one (ours is ancient). If it's not too expensive I'll get a new system too so quotations would be helpful
Richard was the first person to call me and was able to see me the very next day. Rather than trying to install a brand new system he just 'updated' it at a fair price. Honest, reliable and easy to deal with, so highly recommended!

I'm having a new bathroom fitted and need to have a power cable run to the bathroom to power the pump for the shower. Additionally I also have an extractor fan and electric towel heater in the bathroom that are hard wired in that need replacements fitting.
After agreeing a price and a date he never turned up. No warning or explanation. Ignored all my attempts to contact him. Very unprofessional.

"Airflow" extractor fan in bathroom has stopped working. No idea why! Unit is built into the ceiling with a separate switch outside of the bathroom. I know that the unit can be removed from the ceiling as I've had an electrician here before who cleaned it. Don't have a model number I'm afraid, although I could perhaps get one by investigating fan if necessary. I would need the inspection/repair to take place on the morning of sat 21st Jan. Thanks
Nice guy who was flexible and able to come to my flat late in the evening or on a weekend to fit around my working hours. Stuck with the job til it was done even though there were a few obstacles. Thanks alot

12v in-ceiling lights no longer turn on (dimmer switch). A multimeter test of the sockets seems to show 0V at 0mV coming through - I fear the transformer has blown. Have replaced all bulbs. Small issue - I have no idea where the transformer is - probably in the wall.

I have an electric shower which has worked without issue for several years. When I turned it on yesterday it tripped a switch in the fuse box. Resetting the switch and turning the shower on again gives the same results. If I turn the shower to a cold rather than warm setting, it works fine, but any attempt switch to a warmer setting trips the switch again.
