I think there is faulty wiring in our kitchen or it may just be the switch isn't working anymore (it's a dimmer switch). The upshot is the main lights in the kitchen don't work anymore ( all other lights and power sources work. ) am sure it is very simple - bu I can't work it out!

I have 2 electronic cat scarers that I would like to work off the mains, not off the batteries. I would like the adapters to plug into 2 existing sockets inside a kitchen cupboard, so the wire will pass out through a small hole in the wall, and the devices to be fixed one on a wall and the other on a wooden fence post.

The fuse for the lighting has suddenly gone, its never happened in the six years ive been here, and its an old fuse box, looks like from 1970s. I dont know what type of fuse it needs, or if it needs a new fuse box. But at the moment, none of the lights in my flat works. The mains power works normally. Also I need a new ceiling light cable fitted to my ceiling. The property is a two bedroom flat on the ground floor of a victorian house, and is in good order. Thanks, Simon.

Power light on shower doesn't work - pull cord does not switch shower on / or turns off during use. Repair or replace as neccesary please.
Really nice chaps, came 10 minutes early, fixed the job quickly and charged a fair price. Very impressed, would use again.

I live in a property with 5 other houses on the same site. We share external (to car park) and internal (to properties) gates. All the intercoms have failed in terms of being able to communicate with visitors and open the gates via the intercom. The internal gate has now also stopped functioning. I would like a quote for repair.

the House has an immersion heater and when switching on the switch to heat the water the break circuit cuts out. The immersion heater needs a timer so that heating the water can be programmed. the programmable switch might be purchased separately, if the part is deemed too expensive. Also the electric shower needs the switch to be replaced. The spare part has already been purchased. So there is no need to change the electric shower. there is the need to make sure that the water pipe of the shower is tightened and a new rubber ring most probably needs replacing.

I'm getting my kitchen refitted so all the powerpoints will need to be replaced. I may also need a new separate fuse box for the kitchen area. Wiring will be for oven, electric hob, extractor, in-built microwave, boiler, washing machine, power points and light switch.
